It’s ok. There young and Blah Blah. Wait until next year Blah Blah. Half the team transfers. Repeat.

just stop with the transfer BS. That issue has been completely blown out of proportion. Yes, a lot of players transfer. Only Four of them have been contributors at any level. Those three are Tillman, Daniels, Johnson, and Chapman, and even those guys are mediocre at best. Tillman has not been that great this year, and he wasn’t that great last year. He would just be getting in Allen’s way if he was still on the team. They do the same things, play the same game. He is only marginally better shooting threes. Chapman was not a good basketball player. Daniels (I think that was his name) was incredibly selfish. I’m perfectly happy that all three are gone, the rest of the transfers have done absolutely nothing wherever they went. Johnson is and was an awful basketball player. He’s good at being tall, that’s it.
This team will be fine, if you expected anything more than this type of game that is on YOU. That would be like the idiots that expect our football team to get back to contending for a playoff spot this coming year.
Don’t be an idiot.

Daniels was the only one I liked TBH. always really disliked Johnson, i agree with everything u said about Tillman and Chapman was just average and didnt have any strong suits in his game. My problem with the transfer thing is that these guys could have developed to be great. Chapman was the best recruit in the state and one of the best Utah ever got, could have been a special player. Daniels was averaging 11 PPG as a true freshman starter, he would still be on this team and provided some good leadership as the only senior, Tillman could have provided an offensive spark off the bench which we really don’t have given Jantunten and Thioune are both defensive specialists and Brenchley isnt great at creating his own shots and is literally a PVD replica. This team would be far better with Tillman and Daniels. Johnson was just straight up bad and im glad he left, Carlson and Thioune are both way better IMO

Totally disagree on Chapman. He was bad at basketball in college. He had a strange habit of staring down the ball as it was in the air on his shots rather than the front of the rim like every basketball player ever. Could not or would not put on weight…
Daniels and Tillman could have helped but they would have been bench players imo
What is hurting is our depth… but I don’t so much care about that as long as we recruit like we have been. If these guys stick around we will be really good.

not sure how Daniels would be coming off the bench when he was starting as a freshman on a team that is far superior to the team we have now

Look at Daniels’ stats at NC St.
Granted, they play in a tough league, he has not been any better than he was as a freshman statistically. If anything, he has been a little worse. I don’t think he is better than the guys we currently have starting at his position. Gach is every bit as good as Daniels

Meh…you get what you pay for. Zona pays their players a lot better than Utah does. They probably should win big.
Utes need massive defensive improvement.

Yeah we don’t have the salaray to compete with Arizona. What’s the latest on the FBI investigation? Just getting swept under the rug?

The latest from the NCAA: “We’re talking the allegations against University of Arizona very seriously and we have begun a full investig……hey look! Is that OBJ handing money to LSU football players?”

The FBI is no longer investigating, the NCAA investigation is still ongoing. Arizona officials have said in the press that they are preparing for substantial penalties (cheaper free cars for the players?). Once Arizona receives a notice of allegations, they will have time (months) to reply and then the NCAA has to reply…who knows how long and how many more paid players will play.
What to watch for – in Feb the NCAA responds to NC State’s response and that will let us know how serious the NCAA is taking this. Also due in Feb are the responses from Kansas and Okla State and from USC in March. The NCAA is also investigating Creighton, LSU, Auburn, TCU and Louisville.
