USA Today’s Schroeder was on local (outside Utah) radio this morning. Commenting on the Pac-12 he said that he is concerned that Pac-12 may go a year or more without a strong playoff contender because he expects the top teams to get 2-3 losses. Basically said it was a 3-way race in the North and he’s got Utah in the south. Says no one talking about Utah because they are out in Utah, of course.
He expects Herbert to have an impact at Oregon, but said its a wait-n-see if the team can get on-track. He doesn’t think Washington will drop off much, and thinks Stanford will also be in the mix if I recall correctly. Not much said about them, but obviously Costello returning at QB will be good for them.
