Which games are you most looking forward to watching this season? Which players are you most looking forward to seeing? Just wanted to see everyone’s general excitement for the next season.
Personally I think USC is going to be that game where we can see what kind of season this will be. Utah was outplayed in most aspects against USC last season after they had loads of issues. USC is breaking in a lot of new players but always has top notch talent. I also think that lineback (he who must not be named) is returning. You know the guy who caught what seemed like the second leading receiver. I think we will know how good this team really is after the USC game. I really think it is a pick em. I don’t see either team having a huge advantage.
Second most anticipated game would have to be Oregon. This might be the game that decides a lot of things inside the PAC. Whether or not Stanford is in the title game or if Utah is out. It would be nice to see a ranked matchup with national implications on the line. Those late November games are the ones you hope are being talked about by the talking heads.
Players. Has to be Troy Williams. We will get to see what he is made of in Fall camp. But that first snap is what I want to see against I think BYU. BYU will be ready defensively against Utah and highly motivated. I feel like the offense has improved top to bottom though. I think Utah has lost a lot of Booker but getting a change of pace back in McCormick will help things.
The other player I want to see his Chase Hansen. The guy is a difference maker, I believe he made a huge difference in the Washington game. It was a huge hole when he went down and we lost that key game against fUCLA without him. His progression from being injured and actually switched completely over to defense or is he????
Lastly is I am excited for the new hire in the receiving coaches. Holliday has brought a lot with him. I think we will see more accountability and help from I think the worst performing set of guys since they joined the PAC.
Mostly can’t wait for Football. It feels like forever until kickoff.
