      I was thinking how great it was that I haven’t heard Bill Walton call a Utah game this year only to find out he’s working the tournament this week. He just said during this WSU-COLO game that “Utah just played Cal at Utah in a 54-49 thriller” which is typical of his research and game calling abilities. Such an incredibly stupid and annoying man. I would like nothing better than to see him disappear into the sunset in a puff of smoke but he’s more likely to stick around high as a kite in a cloud of smoke.

      I just realized I have not been subjected to his garbage announcing all year. I’ll be at work writing code tomorrow during the game, so I’ll have to listen to KALL700, which is nice.

      Bill Walton is a National Treasure!!!  I didn’t like him At first but I do now.  And I would love to go and get baked with the guy. I’m guessing he gets some high quality green and it’s always 420 somewhere amirightt?!

        Go ahead and do that. Do it during a Utah basketball game and keep him away from a microphone.

          I realize he isn’t everybody cup of tea but I like I said I’ve grown to like the guy. His ramblings make it interesting if for no other reason you’ve no idea what he will say next

            I liked Chris Berman at first. But the schtick got old. Now I can’t stand it.

            He’s grown on me too. He says some things that make you shake your head but it’s pure entertainment.

        National treasure is exactly right.  I get that not everyone will love him, but how do you hate listening to someone who enjoys doing his job as much as Bill.

        I will admit though, my wife hates listening to him and she has way better taste than me.

      Bill Walton is amazing. He’s single handedly increased my knowledge of the Glockenspiel.

      Bill Walton does nothing but add to the enjoyment of the game. He is funny, knowledgeable, interesting, and engaging. Probably the best color guy in the business today.

      I have sorely missed him this year.
