    The politics here have seemed very mellow and middle of the road. The politics always seeped through on that site. That’s why this board is way better.

      At least be honest. You’re upset because both sides jumped on you for your hatred of cops (often wishing death upon them), and that even the self proclaimed libertarians found your laissez faire ideas a tad extreme.

        My hated for the actions cops do has nothing to do with this. What rocker did outside of that site was ridiculous and he has proven who he really is.
        I was extreme in my belief at that time and I’ve seen the error of my ways.
        I’ll discuss politics elsewhere with the truly politically inclined.

  Correct me if I”m wrong because I don’t know the “insiders” as well as those in Utah, but didn’t two of the most conservative LDS people take over the site? If that is the case you have a site with a liberal reputation (actually I would say “open minded”, since both sides were allow free speech, for the most part, it may have seemed liberal compared to KSL and Deseret News, maybe) being run by conservatives which doesn’t bode well. And if it is run like Utahby5, yawn, who among the formerly active participants is going to go back to it?

  Good luck to Rocker, executeioner, and all those involved in bringing that site back up.
  I will lurk there, for sure. I hope things go well and they’re able to do all of the improvements they have in mind.
  This place shouldn’t be too affected, I don’t think. But maybe that’s just me.
