Lots of trash talk by ASU. Can they defeat the old blue blood Big 12 team? I’m going Longhorns.

Back when we first entered the PAC and ASU was decent and led by Todd Graham, I really only hated USC more in the conference. Now that they’re decent again under Dillingham, and their fans have returned to their level of ass douchery, they’re back on my s**t list. So, Hook ’em Horns!!!

Yep Miami it’s southern BYU (the devil cougs) One good year and they start chirping. Good teams let their play do the talking.

I always thought of them as an eastern USC but with far less success, They’re getting their asses handed to them right about now. I still maintain that with a healthy QB, any healthy QB, Utah would have beaten them when we played them in October. They’ve ridden their luck all season and now it’s about to run out.

For me, my dislike was more due to the coaching staff, and they always seem to have a player or 2 that takes cheap shots or is dirty.

As for the game, I thought it started with ASU being out coached, and then obviously, we all know TX has more talent.

To me, it looked like ASU defensively started by jumping the short, easy routes and caused them to get beat deep. Where TX trusted their D and wasn’t going to give up the big play and made ASU’s offense try to continuesly execute their more athletic and physical defense.

And ASU’s offensive play calling had not been great either IMO.

This past week I have been viewing the Big 12 echo chamber. It’s been all how ESPN doesn’t like us. The SEC doesn’t like us. The committee doesn’t like us. The Big 12 echo chamber is just like the TDS echo chamber. OMG the whining and moaning. I have never ever been mistaken for being a SEC fan but today I’m hoping that Texas wipes the floor with them.

The Big12 top teams are middle of the pack SEC. Until the money and exposure gets on a level playing field nothing will change. Too much discrepancy in talent and depth. $$$ = talent. Imagine the NFL without caps and rules. Owner with the deepest pockets would win.

So again, who was it that said Scattebo wasn’t a good RB? There were more than a few during and after the ASU loss.

I’m telling you…ASU this season has had more lives than a cat. Plus, Texas needs a new kicker…the dude plainly sucks in pressure situations.

Announcer’s jinx, if you believe in that.

He was talking about how clutch and how good the TX kicker was, and brought up his stats, you talk specific numbers and that’s the mega jinx. Lol

What are the odds of that kicker missing twice, their best kicker ever?

      UT better get it together!!

Justin Tucker was a longhorn and maybe the best kicker ever. At any level.

Whatever the result of this game, whoever wins will get blown out next weekend ala TCU in CG a couple of seasons ago.

ASU win would have been a good argument for 2 Big 12 teams next year. Now back to square one.

There was a targeting call that was pretty obvious and in my opinion, textbook targeting but it wasn’t confirmed. I think if it was called ASU would have won

Yeah ASU got screwed on that no call, but either way they had a chance a couldn’t get it done.

Ball was tipped and he didn’t lead with the crown of his helmet. Incidental helmet to helmet contact.

Can’t have PI or Targeting (unless blatant launch with crown) on tipped balls is how I understood it.
