      …out of their additions.
I think it was a huge miss the PAC12 and ACC couldn’t figure out a merger.
Travel destinations suck. I hope CCGs will still be in Vegas or at least Phoenix, but not Fuc*in Dallas!
I don’t think Utah is a good fit and we’re going to get locked into something that will be a pain in the ass to get out of. Saying that because Super Conferences will happen.
I’ll try to be positive now. I actually like being in a league with the Kansas schools. Utah should run this league in football for the foreseeable future. Reigniting competition with TCU will be fun. I hate Colorado. They are our rival and I want to destroy them in everything. The rest of the XII is still waiting for their come to Jesus moment on how insufferable you know who will be. Utah entering the mix will speed that up.

      RIP Rose Bowl forever.

I think the PAC / ACC thing could have happened if Colo would not have jumped the gun. I think they did so because they felt if they were not first and the Big 12 had their choice of PAC teams they could have easily been left out. But when Colo did jump, things began to move to fast for anything but life boats to be considered. The root of all of this was USC and they had market value that allowed them to do what they wanted. Oregon and Washington had enough market value to be considered in the fire sale. UCLA somehow road the USC coattails into the B1G, everyone else was forced to scramble. There seems to be great desire to expand in pairs. Down the road the B1G and the SEC will shop for teams if needed in the Big 12 and the ACC so we need to keep our teeth brushed and hair combed to be desirable by the P2.

I believe the reason a Pac/ACC merger couldn’t happen is because in order to draft the merger, they would have to rip up the ACC’s existing GOR. The latest reports are the that as many as 8 programs are currently evaluating their options to leave.
