I have concerns. We don’t seem to be a smart team. We don’t seem to be IMPROVING. We may be getting worse actually. I get that we’re young, and maybe the young players are hitting the mental and physical wall.
That was a pretty bad team we were playing against and at one point in the 2nd half we were 0-9 from three. Daniels looked lost and was literally dibbling the ball off his leg. Happened numerous times. We do a lot of one-on-one. Our screens are drive by and wave. Foul shooting all year has been terrible, something that CAN be improved.
There are a lot of areas that concern me across the board, even coaching. Love LK but I think some of the bad decisions fall on him.
Maybe tonight we sucked because we crapped the bed last week and don’t have much to play for now.

I’m interested to see how they play agains UW and then CU. I think those two games will teach us all we need to.

Why the team is getting worst is because more film on the new guys. Seems like Utah is easily scouted and teams are adjusting.

So wouldn’t a good coach be two chess moves ahead of this scouting? You know, run some new plays and wrinkles to keep it fresh and keep the defense off-guard?

Feels like November football.

I feel like that the Basketball IQ is also quite poor. There’s a lot of dumb decision making that has led us to insane turnover totals and weird decision making down the stretch. Playing hard is nice and all, but understanding the offense/defense schemes and late game scenarios would benefit this team greatly.

Having all of our chances for “good wins” in the rear view mirror and having them all be losses has clearly had an affect on the teams psyche. Focus and intensity has fallen off a cliff since late january

Here is my view from the lower bowl seats last night thanks to a great stepson.
Kuzma in my opinion has a little attitude problem and from some sources i have wanted to leave the team last year.
Utah pulled ahead comfortably in the 1st half when he was benched with 4 minutes left.
He was a non factor all night and was responsible for how many WSU points from bad shot or turnovers??
I listened to coaches post game comments on Kall 700 and many times coach spoke on maturity, team work, karma, and attitudes.
The next 6 games will be interesting to watch who steps off the ladder and quits climbing!!-

Coach was chewing out Kuz on numerous occasions last night.

There was one play where Utah passed the ball like six or seven straight times, around the horn and got an easy basket.
I kept wondering what happened to those passes in the second half.
