I’ve yet to see one that didn’t have Jaylon in the top 32. I wonder what pushed teams the other way? Revelation of the shoulder injury could’ve been a factor. Also, he was tweeting a couple weeks ago about reports that “he only wanted to play for the raiders”. Not sure if that could’ve also had an impact, but it’s sucks for him and his family.
He’ll go fast in the second, but falling out of the first cost him at least 2.2 million dollars in signing bonus.
2019 NFL signing bonus structure: #1 pick $23.6 million #5 pick $19.1 million #10 pick $11.9 million #15 pick $8.8 million #20 pick $7.4 million #25 pick $6.6 million #30 pick $5.7 million
Every round after the 1st round stabilizes. The money fluctuation isn't as dramatic.2nd round bonuses:Picks 33-41 between $3.5-$3.2 millPicks 42-48 between $3.1-$2.4 millPicks 49-64 between #2.3-$1.3 mill3rd round bonuses:Picks 65-102 between $1.1-$760,000

The reports were all wrong. He was asked if he had a hunch as to where he might go. He said Raiders. A lot of people took it and ran with it as if he had a promise etc.
I feel horrible that he didn’t go in the first. The shoulder probably played more of a role than the ‘hunch.’
