            This. Utah was his #1 but Utah wanted him to walk on as a LB. 

            byu offered a scholarship as a RB. 

            He wanted to play RB so he went to BYU.

      Kalani made a statement earlier this month about how Wells’ denial of Joe Tukuafu’s (sp?) transfer was wrong and that he would never deny a transfer for one of his athletes. Makes me wonder if he’ll backtrack if Bernard wants to come to Utah.

      He’ll look like a major hypocrite if he does.

      A lot of BYU fans are having to do some Olympic-level mental gymnastics right now to justify a denial of transfer when they were spewing vitriol at Matt Wells for doing the exact same thing.

          The way the situation with Bernard was handled is odd to me. Maybe I am believing Jay Drew which I don’t totally do at all.  That article threw heavy shade on TDS which I can see the brothers perspective but it still is just his viewpoint.  Truth is usually somewhere in between what people actually perceive to be true.

        They act like transferring to Utah is legally misconduct.  Harvey Longi switched colors to blue as well as others post mission.  But somehow switching colors to red must be immediately addresed in their eyes.

          They have Lee and Tonga on their team right now.  Both were signed with and left Utah for BYU.

            And both are in the 2-deep and will get significant playing time. At Utah they would have been buried in the roster.

        I just love the distraction it brings to the TDS coaching staff really.  Honor code is so ridiculously stupid and I am LDS.  The whole rape scandal should have shut the damn thing down.

        Head Coach, Defensive coordinator not on the same page? If Scalley said crap like that and then Whitt said something else that would p**s me off as a fan.
