      ESPN has up that Nebraska AD on hot mike was heard saying the right decision will be announced later Tuesday (tonight) Speculation is Oct 10 possible so they could make playoffs. 6-8 game schedule.  I attached link to a newspaper article that’s also about the comment.

      In an unsurprising development the local Nebraska media twisted the comment to fit their narrative of we want to play.  When contacted by ESPN Carter acknowledged he was taken out of context and made the following definitive statement: “All I said is there’s work going on and we remain cautiously optimistic, like everybody else, that we’ll get to discovering when it’s safe to play.”
