When Carlson is gone, we don’t have anyone good enough to be anything close to a first team all pac12 player. No centerpiece. Keita was a huge win, but AFAIK he isn’t really a viable option offensively (could be wrong). If this team doesn’t pull in a major recruit, we will be taking a huge step back next year.

Not meant to be mean but if Carlson is our centerpiece that’s, uh, not optimal.

Being bottom 6th of the pac12 isn’t optimal?

Yes, it’s bad… but it could be worse. Imagine how bad that team would have been without BC last year.

One side note: BC would be an excellent piece on a team as a #2 or #3 option. He shouldn’t be a team’s best player though. He isn’t good enough at any 1 thing to be that kind of player.

Thought the new coach was supposed to be a good recruiter. At least larry could recruit. Smith hasnt impressed at all.
