Overreaction for today, but we have now seen a a fair amount of football. So, it looks like CU and BYU may both be contenders along with Iowa State. The thing is, I think that is more an indictment of where the BXII is overall this year. I think even without Cam, we can challenge to win this thing, which I did not think possible before the season.

A healthy Utah team should legit be favored by 10+ in most of our games. Here is to us getting right and putting it on some teams. I think we have a legit shot at maybe the 3 seed, and possibly even the 2 if we can win out and we see some cannibalism elsewhere.

I’d say us, Colorado, Iowa state. Not nearly as impressed with tds as others are

Who does byu-p lose to until us?

Both Arizona and OSU are at home for them

I mean they could have easily dropped the game to Baylor so I’d say Arizona, UCF, or OSU could beat them.

Nah. AZ has no defense, and the offense is predictable. Gary Anderson and Jay Hill will keep them below 20. BYU wins that game.

The TrDS were supposed to have lost three times already. Gotta give them some credit and start taking them seriously.

We have a good shot of winning all our games but it’s a long season injuries can play a role in wins and losses. Look at last year.

Yeah, that is why I added that caveat of ‘healthy’, and this is definitely not a set in stone post, just what I am feeling/thinking after most of the days action to this point. I think K St may still have a great chance, but it seems like their biggest issues may be around consistency, and they already have that loss.

Honestly, we may just have a lot of inconsistent teams in the league and we are getting more an NFL any given game type model. It will be interesting to see how it all shakes out. I just hope we keep taking care of business and get/stay healthy. I think we have a great chance at a very special year if we are healthy.

One game at a time , Utes showed some holes in their last few games and issues they need to figure out. They dam near let OKST win last week. To this point, we’re not rolling teams like I feel we should. If we’re head and shoulders above the competition in this league we better start showing it or else we’re gonna drop a few games

Agreed, but we have been winning without 3 of our top players. My comments on us being favored by 10+ most of the rest of the way are based on us as having our core healthy on O and D. We could lose any given week, I just think that if we get all our key players back and stay healthy we are the fastest car on the track by a fair bit.
