After watching the Bills for the last couple of weeks, I can’t figure out why Zack Moss cant get more touches as the #2 back.  Singletary is shifty, but they can’t run between the tackles with him for short yardage.  In fact most of the short yardage runs today are by the QB Josh Allen with the RB blocking for him.

I’ve seen Singletary get either blown up or whiff on pass protection/blitzes and he stays in the game.  It just seems to me that a lot of the stuff the Bills are trying to do offensively could benifit from a bigger bodied back from time to time?

Zack has been a healthy scratch more than he has played since week 12.  He might not even be active today.  His time in Buffalo is over.

I love Zack, but Singletary and Breida have been better.

Moss needs a new team… that has been apparent all season.

I don’t really like how the Bills use their backs in the offense.  When they do actually run it tends to be to the edges unless it is a QB run and probably 25% of those edge runs aren’t even by a running back they are receiver jet sweeps.  Most of the time the backs just vacate the backfield and stand 5 – 7 yards past the LOS as a safety valve.  I think I can coun’t on one hand the number of times they have run Singletary up the middle.  You would think they would do it more often just to keep the D honest.

Also, if you have a lead and you can’t run the ball the clock is not your friend.

I haven’t followed the Bills much, but I do look at box scores to see how Ute players are doing. When was the last time the Bills had a 100 yard rusher that wasn’t their QB?

When was the last time they had a rusher with more attempts than their QB? That’s a more telling stat. The running backs don’t get chances to make plays, because even when it’s a designed rb run, Allen often pulls it and gets stuffed on his own.

he’s a good qb, but his body will not hold up for more than a few years of playing like that.

Running back has been their main position of concern over the past few years.

It was said earlier in the season that the Bills coaches prefer “faster” backs.  But then when they actually used Zack he did very well and scored, mostly in the red zone, especially inside the 10.   The Bills still didn’t catch on to his value.

Hopefully another team can pick him up and utilize him more; I don’t know anything about his contract status.  Anyone?

If he really doesn’t figure into their ongoing plans, they may just waive him.

I think he signed a four year $16m contract. But nothing is guaranteed in the NFL.

I’m huge Bills fan, last night sucked…anyways, about Zack Moss, he’s not played well at all this year for the Bills. I’ve seen a lot of film break downs and he is just missing holes and making poor decisions. Stinks because loved that the Bills picked him but he has played himself into a #2 role at best. Wouldn’t be surprised if the Bills move on from him next year but we’ll see.

Also a Bills fan. He’s also been missing blocks and is unable to shed tacklers like he did in college. It’s completely different game in the NFL. The only area he’s been consistently good is catching the ball. He’s a had few nice runs, but for the most part has been underwhelming. I hope he can go to another team and do better but I wouldn’t place any money on it.

The bills have absolutely mismanaged Zach Moss, he is a volume back. He needs to get touches to get in a rhythm to be productive.

Singletary hasn’t had that issue. He isn’t awesome but he’s been productive lately.
