#4 total offense for 2024. Just behind Miami and Ole Miss. #5 rushing offense. A spot in front of Boise State and 2200 yard rusher and possible Heisman winner Ashton Jeanty. The #15 red zone offense. Just behind Miami. Named to the Frank Broyles Award, which honors college football’s top assistant coach. If we took away the last name Beck and BYU ties, our fanbase would be very happy with Jason Beck being hired as OC. Our offense only needed to not be completely inept this past season and we’d be close to double digit wins. Between his time at New Mexico and what he did at Virginia (look up the numbers) Jason Beck is a damn good OC and QB coach.

Totally agree and on-board with Utah getting Beck, the issue I have specifically with Whittingham is he’s a narccistic control freak and hires people in his circle or close to his inner circle by association or affiliation (Utah/TDS ties) that he can control and when he says jump, they say how hi.

Regardless of potentially getting Beck, I don’t think the offense changes at all! Same ole same ole with a new OC only to have another 5-7 season in 2025. I hope I’m wrong, but we’ve been down this road more than enough and I think it will be the same old Whitt song and dance. It will be a game time decision BS!

His time at Syracuse wasn’t all that great.

The biggest problem to me is the fact that Jason Beck will have been our 4th choice at best. When you’ve supposedly been mere inches away from hiring not one but two guys plus having a third decline you it says something about issues you have.
