It’s clear at this point that he’s much closer to being Bentley 2.0 than he is to being the QB we desperately need. Is that his fault? Maybe not, both of those guys probably look worse than they are because of our poopoo offensive line play.

If the line doesn’t show up by the USC game, I’m not watching another game until Harding is gone. Every one of our linemen should be able to block BYU players without trouble. Put up or shut up time Harding!

Brewer was under siege last night.  And he isnt a Huntley.  Brewer can run for a first down or two, but he isnt going to make big plays with his legs.

Bentley 2.0 is a huge overreaction at this point.

He’s obviously better than Bentley, but at least Bentley had some fire in him. Brewer seems emotionally dead.

This is not on Brewer. Kalani knows Utah’s Oline has been weak for the past two years and took advantage of it. Same game plan as everyone else, pressure the QB and lock up coverage for 2 seconds. For all their hype, the WRs also seem to be missing. Has Dixon caught a pass yet?

LOL! last week Brewer was the best QB since Alex Smith, today after a bad performance against BYU he’s Bentley 2.0.

Exactly my thought. I am pretty convinced that Utah just wasn’t a full gameplan into last night. They were very vanilla. Both the O and D line’s were absolutely owned. Either they aren’t very good, or they just weren’t showing a lot, to save that for the PAC games. I can’t imagine them completely holding back, the first half though was a polar opposite from last week, in terms of the plays they were calling.

I think Brewer will be just fine. As a fan, I am really curious and excited to see where they go from here. If Whitt said they are good, they will be good. I trust him.

You shouldn’t trust a coach saying his players are good. Every single coach in the country says that.

If Vanilla means Out Coached? Then yes, Utah played a very vanilla gameplan.

Agreed man. Vanilla was the same word I used on both sides of the ball.

Look at Oregon last week barely beating Fresno and yesterday beating Ohio St. I hope we just came out flat and this will be a big wake up call
