      Dude, come on. Did you not read where Bartle asked to keep it to the board? Those guys work hard and the only way they are able to do so is by having us pleebs fork over a subscription so we can get news like that. Pretty disrespectful, IMO. Tony, can we get this taken down out of respect for what the guys at Utezone do?

        You get that news without a subscription – The blurb “According to a source close to the program, Kyle Whittingham and his coaching staff have named <<Redacted cuz Bartle fixed it>>” is not behind the paywall

        I actually pay for UteZone, thanks. And Bartle had posted that nugget publically. I wasn’t sure what the admonition was supposed to be, I haven’t been a member that long.

          Right at the bottom, in bold, it said, “PLEASE KEEP THIS TO THE BOARD”. 

           

          At any rate, moot point now, the news is out everywhere. I just like folks like Bartle to enjoy the shine of dropping big nuggets like this without it being leaked. Though, in fairness, it looks like he didn’t take the right steps to protect the secret, lol.

            I read that and thought, then why the heck did he post it to the public news feed? That initially confused me, then I wasn’t sure what it said. I guess I was one of the lucky few who saw that I guess.

      I would like to see where these supposed “sources” got their information from. Because the team themselves, while knowing who the starter is, have publicly stated that they will not be releasing any information on the situtation until Thursday. Ergo, someone with inside information and connections must have pulled the information out of someone when they weren’t supposed to, and then leaked it to the press.

      Not only is it Brewer, but JQJ beat out Risen at QB2. AW. gave the edge to Risen to prevent a transfer. JQJ is the future of Utah Football.
