      If anyone cares, Brian Allen was drafted by the Birmingham Stallions of the new USFL yesterday.  The sports nostalgia part of me is happy to have the USFL back and we could all use some successful spring football.

      One of the many reasons these leagues fail is because they are played in the Spring/Summer. Football belongs in the Fall.

        There’s no way they could try to compete with the NFL and college football. I’m not sure another league will ever be viable no matter what time of year it’s played.
