I think Covey was in on at least one Punt reception yesterday in the Eagles game. One of my favorite Utes.

Good to see him back from injury.

Yes it is. The injury came at a bad time for him They were just beginning to use him as a receiver, then he gets hurt.

I wish Covery the bet. He is a great Ute.

By the way Vele is doing great at Denver. I am happy to see that. No we need to get Kincaid healthy again.

Yes, I was looking forward to watching him show what he could do as a Receiver, and then he got injured.

Barkley’s first 70+ yard TD run, Covey had the last block on two secondary players that helped him score untouched.

You earn a ton of points with teammates and coaches for doing the dirty work. He’s already loved, but doing your job even without the stats is a mark of a competitor.

Borderline block in the back. Being engaged with the DB straight up first probably waived the flag from the ref. Covey seemed to let up at the right time. Not a new take, Covey has a very high football IQ. The past two years have shown more and more the significant impact he had on Utah football.

He is making about 1M per year for first three years. Hope he does well enough to get paid when he signs a new contract.
