In Britain I trust.  He usually tells it like it is.

Didn’t Britton play with Alex Smith?  🙂

Alex isn’t old enough to have played with Britain.

I think Britain caught his first pass from Scott Mitchell.

Britt and Whitt joined the program the same year, correct?

Hasn’t he been at the school long enough to have a few PhD’s under his belt yet? Should we start calling him Dr. Covey?

Another interesting fact to come from that intereview:  Covey isn’t the longest tenured player on the team.  That award goes to Tyrone Smith apparently…

If you listen to the interview, this isn’t quite how Britain worded things.  He said he hasn’t seen a QB move like that in the pocket in awhile.  He then said that he has an extremely fast and quick release.  He didn’t explicity say that he does both of those two things “maybe better than any QB he’s played with…”.  He just said he moves in the pocket better than he’s seen in awhile, and he also has a fast and quick release.  Bill Riley is the one who asked the question, but his above Tweet paints the answer in a much brighter shade.

It may be that I’m being nitpicky, but there is a difference.
