      Congrats to the Buffs for beating Cal last weekend. Everyone’s favorite Urban Utah assistant Mike Sanford was coaching as interim HC. Happy for them and embarrassed for the Bears.

      The Buffs’ interim head coach is actually Mike Sanford Jr, the son of the OC during Urban’s tenure at Utah. I met him in St George this summer. He was a very nice, engaging and impressive young man and I wish him luck except against the Utes. He was sincerely complementary towards the Utes during our conversation. Good luck to him!
