      His firing is long over due. Do they owe him a ton of money or something?

      On a side note: Whittingham dodged a huge bullet by not taking over that program.

        Fan base has wanted him gone anyway.  Giving away the Florida game they once again should have won and now losing embarrasingly to another rival in Georgia, would have to think most of their fanbase would view today as a happy day in that there is no arguing that Butch will be fired.
