Looks like Draper H.S.’s 4-star QB decommitted from USC recently.  Anybody know why?  And does anybody know why Utah hadn’t recruited him?

This isn’t the first kid to decommit. They fired their coach, no coaching hire has been made yet, and their team is trash. They may still get some of these kids back before signing day but my guess is they’ll lose a few more commits.

He’s not from here. He moved up here from AZ for his senior year of HS just to play at Corner Canyon and has been a USC commit since before he moved here. Not really a local prospect even tho he played locally for a year.

Yeah…don’t think he’s someone we’d be interested in. Played at Queens Creek and saw what Dart did in Kjar’s offense so transferred up. Not as mobile as the guy’s Ludwig likes…more of a pure pocket guy which is typical for SC. Coaching changes throw some things out of whack but if they hire the right guy he could be right back in.

Johnson, Rose, Rising, JaQuinden, and Barnes is probably all we’d have room for…maybe a JC type guy transfers in or a guy with a little more game experience as an insurance policy but we’ve got our highly rated guy(s) for the foreseeable future.

I have to disagree on his mobility after watching him in the State Championship game. He started taking official visits a couple of weeks after Helton was fired. Has visited Texas, Ole Miss and Ohio State.
