  If true I’m very grateful for Cam and the two Pac-12 titles he was an integral part of! Hope he finds success wherever he plays next.

  Love him for what he did for us in the PAC12 CCG years. Don’t love what he did to us the last 2 years, but not his fault for getting injured (and not like he’s going to give NIL money back). If he wants to give an 8th year a go, I wish him the best. I should hope that when he retires from football, he has good opportunities to go into coaching if that’s his desire. His shot at the league have to be gone with his injury history even if he had a full, productive 2024 season (which is a low probability).

  Cam was a stud when healthy and did things at Utah no other qb has done but it is best for the program to move on. The last two years were painful but the two Pac 12 Championship years were some of the best! I will always have good memories of Cam and what he did at Utah.

  Yeah I mentioned my discussion with Cam’s dad in another thread or two and the gist was that IF he were to play next year, he’d be playing somewhere else.

  I’d like to think that they likely sat Cam down and said that he’s welcome to stay but they cannot offer the same NIL deal and no guaranteed starting job.

  I kind of wish he would come back as sort of a grad assistant, QB coach intern with the ability to play if we needed. Love the guy, I believe his best interest is to move on as well as for this program. Thanks for the memories Cam, you’ll always be a legend here.
