ParticipantHis exact words on the subject:
How’s the hand feeling?
“Feeling a lot better, definitely way better than last week. Just gotta stay on top of treatment and everything. We’re trending in the right direction”.Do you expect to play against Ok St?
“That is my plan at the moment, yes sir”-

ParticipantKey words there ‘at the moment’.

ParticipantNo matter who says it (even the man himself), I don’t think I can believe that Cam will play until I see Cam playing.
Last season made sure of that…

ParticipantIt’s like we’ve been down that road before or something!?!?!?

Dallas
ParticipantI have a terrible fear Whitt knows Cam isn’t playing and is therefore talking as if he will play to throw off OSU’s prep. I just can’t see Whitt tipping his hand like that otherwise. If Cam was definitely playing, I’d have to think Whitt would lean toward “game time decision” talk.

ParticipantGhost. Besides Reid, any other guys with injuries you know of that might miss Saturday? Please and thank you.

ParticipantHmmm, it would be a great week for a Munir McClain breakout performance.
It’s always good to see guys get back on the field healthy again and play with their hair on fire.

ParticipantDo you expect to play against ______?
“That is my plan at the moment, yes sir”Why does this sound familiar?

Dallas
ParticipantThat doesn’t sound good at all! “Trending in the right direction”!! What the hell is going on here?!? I don’t mean to blaspheme but I’ve never been so mad at OnlyU. /s
does “/s” indicate sarcasm or hyperbole? I sure hope so otherwise I’m in big trouble.

ParticipantHe said on his show last week before the USU game that he was ready to go. No different this week. Until he runs on the field that first series I’m not believing him.
After the first three games it’s hard to tell who’s in the game. New numbers and names. Hiding injuries is out of hand and needs to be addressed. Season ticket holders pay a lot of money for tickets and should at least have some status updates. The NFL has a great policy to follow. Hasn’t affected their games that I can see.

ParticipantEspecially if the players are being paid like employees…

Tom Brady was on the weekly injury list for most of his career but still managed to play damn near every game in fine health. That NFL list isn’t worth the newspaper space it takes up.

ParticipantI disagree. I’m in a couple fantasy football leagues and besides a couple game time decisions I know who is playing and who is out. Plus they have to designate the injury and status. On my fantasy league they post full practice or sitting out.
I follow the Utes daily and don’t have clue who is even hurt let alone their injury and status. So no comparison. The NFL rule would be a huge upgrade.

ParticipantI don’t care what OnlyU or Ghost say about Cam. I’m not gonna be confident in 1) cam playing, and 2) cam playing well (not bothered by injury) until I see it with my own two eyes. I’ve had pretty bad/deep cuts and wounds before (although not on my finger), and one thing I’ll say is that they generally have not healed to 100% for much longer than 2 weeks. We of course don’t know the severity of the injury because Whitt is obnoxious about injuries, but even if it is a minor injury relative to what was initially believed, it is still something that might not be fully healed until ASU, and that’s if the healing process is uninterrupted, which is not guaranteed if he actually plays against Ok State and Arizona.
