  According to the terms of the transfer settlement, yes, it appears Cam Rising could get an 8th year if he wants it.

    Ha! Well if it looks like Cam isn’t going to get drafted, I dont know of any jobs out of college where he could make $2M in a year. Not a bad gig to have as a fallback to the NFL…
    
    Could you imagine if Cam won 2 back-to-back PAC 12 Championships and then won 2 back-to-back Big 12 Championships?! Sign me up!!!

    An extra year would obviously be Cam’s best move. He’ll make more money than he would in the NFL, meaning he probably wouldn’t make any money in the NFL.

      If you mean he won’t be drafted, I think you’re wrong.
      He wouldn’t be the statistically best QB but Joe Montana wasn’t the statistically the best QB when he played, he just won. I think Cam has that ability too.

  No thanks. Cam has been great, but I’m ready for new leadership on this team. Also, if another post I saw is correct, he won’t be eligible for the extra year.
