Championship weekend quick hits

1st of all not everything in my chaos scenario happened but some chaos I didn’t mention did happen.

1. Congratulations to USU which curb-stomped SDSU yesterday. Anybody see that happening?

2. Way to go Baylor, another “upset” in a Championship game.

3. Congrats to Cincinnati, nice win yesterday. I saw on ESPN’s main page with a picture of a Bearcats fan holding a sign “Power 5 is opinion, 12-0 is fact.” Well I guess Cincinnati is going to get the chance Utah didn’t in 2004 or 2008. Personally I think they’ll get blown out. Unless they play ND (kidding).

4. Really sucks that Alabama beat Georgia, I don’t want to say it was a set up, but… really odd that Alabama likely misses the CFP if they lose and this keeps ND out, Pitt out, Baylor out, and Utah out. Not that I ever thought Utah or Pitt would get in.

5. We really need to expand the CFP playoffs. I think this year the preseason bias towards the SEC helped them out, along with playing that stupid powder puff team in November. Something has to be done about that. ND, and possibly Baylor deserved a shot, maybe not Pitt but then again why not they won their conference. I hate to say, CFP expansion will diminish the lustre of the Rose Bowl. I as well as many of you are totally stoked about “The Rose Bowl” however I read quite a few OSU fans comments and they definitely don’t see the Rose Bowl as the same prize we do.

tOSU fans are ridiculously spoiled. This Rose Bowl is nothing to them. I’ve read so many of their fans that see this as a disappointment and a worthless consolation prize. I hope their team feels the same, and we blow them the f**k out of the stadium.
