I am so excited to see what Phillips can do.  What a steal from Ohio St late in the cycle!  Expecting a big year from him.

I don’t know if he can win the job right away but I would love to see him on the field early!

It’s not a matter of whether he starts, only whether it’s inside or outside.

I believe he projects best inside, so hopefully others step-up outside & take control of those spots.

The problem is, he wants to play outside. Ohio State wanted him inside and he is in Utah. I bet he starts out on the outside.

Why is he not good for the outside? Too small to guard the taller receivers?

Never said he can’t play outside, only that he projects best inside & I’ve never read anywhere he objects.

Where did you read he wants to play outside?

I don’t believe that’s the reason he’s not at OSU.

I believe he also projects best at the NFL level on the inside.

Lately people like to have bigger corners on the outside and quicker smaller guys on the inside.  I’m not sure it really matters, if you can play, you can play

I think he will cover who ever we need covered. Which happens a lot as opposing teams in the pac have at least one quality wideout.

He’s been quoted as saying he can play nickel or outside, and he’s comfortable with both, and trusts coach Shah to put him where he’s needed most.
