Coach Whitt on post game.

No time for film on TDS so straight into Washington prep. Probably wants to forget most of it. Says one day of pads. 

Seems a little tired after this win. Liked his comments. Senior class never loss to TDS. He said this game was an example of the entire season and handling adversity. 

Giving me some hope for Friday.

Hackett saying the locker room was excited. Overall mostly relief and said he felt the team was looking ahead to Washington. 

Hackett can’t pinpoint the special teams mistakes.

One thing he said that leads me to believe he too was looking ahead was in regards to Washington, “they will get together, well, we already have a good plan in place”.  I would never have suspected Whit of looking ahead, but it sounds as if he may have been.

He admitted as much after the NIU game. I can’t blame him honestly. He tries to control what he can control. This schedule was just garbage. Really impressive to win the south. 

Also NIU took a lot of guts and grit to win. Only to still come out flat against Washington. Shelley isn’t a drop back guy at all the offensive scheme was bad tonight. Special teams needs to execute and just stop stacking the odds. I hope we see more of the fourth quarter play calling. Stop being cute get those cut back routes and Covey in space. Not having Moss for Washington really sucks.
