Looking forward to see how the Utah coaching staff step up their game at the same level put on their players.
How does KW coach at the end of close games against good coaches and teams? An area IMO he has struggled with in key games during his tenure. To an extent, we saw some of this in the Rose Bowl. I get other factors in play with Rising out.
Utes have more experience in the role of winner so hoping KW’s sleighed the hunter vs. hunted dragon. Not too worried about Utah starting slow or playing with a chip on their shoulder as embedded in all the national hype is commentary about Utah not having talent comparable to the Blue bloods, total BS. Utah may not recruit all the 5 stars out of H.S, they build them with in.
Point is, KW and his coaching staff need to up their game this season with the same expectations they put on the players. No excuses for the STs play like last season. Not sure why Utah as a Top-10 program has the DB coach double timing as STs coach? More QB couch commentary of course. For Utah to live up to expectations they will need some good ball bounces especially on defense and excellent coaching along the way in all phases of the game. We will see right out to the gate how Utah handles the pressure against University of Humidity. Go Utes!
