ParticipantNice! Will this be the third or fourth time? Hopefully we show up and it’s not a repeat of TCU 🙄

ParticipantThe differences to me compared to 2010 TCU are: whereas in 2010 a lot of people were still riding high on Utah, this go around I think both fans and outsiders alike are well aware of Utahs deficiencies. We are definitely coming into this game as major underdogs, and anyone paying attention to Utah should know that. That said, Utah generally plays better as underdogs and hopefully we can find a way to pull something out of our hat! But even if we don’t, nobody should be let down if we don’t win.

ParticipantSpread is only -3.5 Oregon…

ParticipantInteresting, I would have guessed the spread would be more.
That said: For the year, Oregon is 4-1 as 3.5-point or better favorites. Utah has won once against the spread (1-1) as a 3.5-point underdog or greater this year.
So yes we have a chance, but the odds are not in our favor.

ParticipantI think Vegas is tired of being burned by the Utes.

ParticipantIf they don’t have 15 of the players trucks parked right next to where the Gameday crew is going to be set up, someone needs to be fired.

ParticipantUnlike the team that played TCU, this team has been tested (repeatedly). This is the best 6-1 start we’ve ever had (not sure how many times we’ve been 6-1). We have beaten, Florida, Baylor, Weber State, Cal, UCLA, and USC (at USC). We aren’t the greatest team ever, but our defense is damn good, and our offense is not. If our offense doesn’t shoot itself in the foot, it is usually good enough to win football games.
The game against Oregon should be a good one. Can you imagine being 7-1 with this very nearly crippled offense? It is crazy that we are even in this position.

Participantso Oregon gets to be the visiting team for Game Day twice in 3 weeks. Just need to make sure the same result happens for them
