ParticipantDid Ricky Williams stay for his senior year in Texas or something? Is Moss suggest he will be back for his senior year?
-
NarfUte
ParticipantYes, he finished 5th in the heisman voting his jr. year (1997) then came back his sr. year and won the trophy

InactiveDidn’t he win the Heisman in 1998?

InactiveCan you imagine if Zack stays, and that starts a chain reaction where Anae and Fotu also stay?
With the way the Offense was humming along?
damn.

ParticipantI’m assuming he’s gone until I hear otherwise. I think Fotu comes back. Anaes 50/50 according to OnlyU.

ParticipantI feel tingly and optimistic if Zack is back.

ParticipantBig aspirations there. You would have to be pretty amazing to get a Heisman as a RB in this era. Like Bryce Love junior year plus lead the nation in TD’s, Undefeated season just to name a few.

ParticipantAt first I thought, he really expects to compete for the Heisman? Then I realized he may just be referring to the fact that Ricky Williams came back when noone expected him to because he had already made a big name for himself and had good NFL prospects as a junior. After winning the Heisman he went #5 in the NFL draft, behind 3 QBs and RB Edgerrin James.

InactiveYeah, but he was back to being great with the Fins.

ParticipantYeah what is he grading out at? I think he has to have an amazing pro day run really fast to rise to a first or second day guy.

ParticipantI don’t know if he’ll even be ready to perform on Pro Day. I heard that he probably wouldn’t participate, because he won’t be full speed. If he doesn’t, his draft stock could drop a lot. Maybe he’s hearing that he’s not even a day 2 pick. If so, he’ll be back.
