      I love this mentality that sort of exists post covid. Rules and definitions don’t matter. Forget the fact that Oregon went undefeated. They shouldn’t be further tested because reasons that override the rules. I guess that is just U$C in a nutshell not so much post covid world.

        What a strange argument.

        The only way a team should be crowned the conference champion without playing the final game, is if they play every other team in that conference. This, all conferences should only be 12 teams and they should have to okay each other every year.

        Can’t stand that Bama and Georgia could be crowned the champs after only playing 56% of their conference. It is pathetic.

          Well, this is the pro football argument. Since time immemorial, NFL champs have been crowned without playing every team in the league. The sport is just too brutal to have so many games in a season.
