Their pops Jared played for BYU. And isn’t the biggest fan either.
“I don’t have any feelings towards wanting BYU to do anything right,” Sam’s dad, Jared Leavitt, said. “I hope it’s a complete disaster for them, that we throttle those guys.”

I think a lot of us feel the same way.

Asu has a pretty low class fanbase in my experience, and had always been maybe my least favorite program in the pac12. I am certainly happy tds lost yesterday, but the asu fans looked like embarrassing fools in the footage I saw of them during their field storming. I would never want my kid to be seen cussing and flipping off opposing fans on national tv.

BYU and Utah fans are complete assholes when they play each other, but in general, both BYU and Utah fans are really nice when playing other teams. ASU fans are just classless little bitches 100% of the time

I know the Leavitt family personally. There’s no love lost between Dallin and BYU fans. He famously taunted them one year when Utah state smacked BYU. But oddly enough he’s said multiple times he’d like to coach at BYU, so it’s not the athletic program he has a problem with as he stated in the video

Understandable. No one who deals with BYU fans in the long run likes them. But it’s a good program.
