      Interesting that such a highly recruited kid couldn’t get time at BYU.

        He did light it up against the Utes, perhaps the highlight of his career, to date.

        This is a very strange announcement because he has nothing but praise for BYU and has had no problems with the team in the past other than being slow to pick up playing time, yet he’s leaving before his junior year.  Maybe he needs to find a school that cares even less about defense than TDS.

        Utah recruited him, would have loved to have picked him up out of HS. 4* recruit

      This “kid” is already 23 and has a middle aged hairline.  Serious basketball players shouldn’t go missions.

        The development window is earlier and shorter for basketball than football. 19-21 are precious years in hoops. It would take a special player to go on a mission and also make it to the NBA and even then they would be worse off (lower draft/less money and less potential) than had they not gone
