      Please do not attempt or even consider running the triple reverse while serving as the OC at the University of Utah.

      That seemed to be a crucial point in the game, unfortunately.  I don’t know why we tried so many lateral moving runs when straight ahead worked better, and passing worked better than both.

        I hoped after it failed miserably against Byu-Provo in 2007 that Ludwig would have thrown that play away. Guess not.

        The triple reverse defeats the whole purpose of the play design. It essentially runs the play right back to the pursuit. Not only did it ruin the drive, but led to the blocked punt and shifted the momentum.

        I think sometimes offensive coordinators think too much, insead of going with “what works.”

      Not as stupid as leaving easy points on the feild by going for it on fourth 2 times in the red zone
