Tyrone Smith has NFL potential and he’s a backup. This is upper level P5 depth. It’s crazy.
I think Johnson was the better CB last year. QB’s threw less at Johnson because those receivers were blanketed. Thus giving Blackmon more opportunity to make plays with the ball coming to his side more often. That being said, it’s good to see two experienced guys with some upside. Blackmon projects as a safety in the NFL, which might be perfect as he can add some muscle and be a ball hawk.
