I’m not going to bang on Snyder at all for that game. The Jazz played very good defensively. Look at the shot charts between Utah and Houston:

Look at all the mid-range shots Houston took compared to Utah. What lost the game for Utah was this: 7/29 on threes. You won’t beat anyone shooting like that. Utah has to make those three point shots. Mitchell and Ingles have to be a whole lot better than 2/7 each. 3/7 each makes a HUGE difference. 4/7 wins you the game.
O’Neal was 0 for 3 from three. Crowder was 1/7. If O’Neal is 1/3, Crowder, Ingles and Mitchell are 3/7, that is an additional 15 points. That turns a loss into a win. The players need to shoot better.
Snyder has done an amazing job. What needs to happen is Lindsey needs to not put himself in a position again to lose a player like Hayward.
We need a third. Can Utah get Leonard from SA? I’d love that.
