So he has a lengthy history of knee injuries. Played quiet a bit as a freshman at USC. Got suspended last season for collecting benefits or something stupid like that. He and his bro left due to no explanation re: the suspension, and lack of playing time.

So… could be a home run, could be injury ridden for the duration of his time here. We shall see

Utah is a good change and second chance place to go for players if they want to put in the work and reset in an environment where the expecations are clear and strong team/family culture. It sounds likely that he made a mistake if he was on, as an example, the USC meal plan. However, kids like all of us make mistakes, should pay a penalty and be allowed back. It would be better if he had never made a mistake but it happens. Whitt though, has a very good record of taking a player that has had trouble, giving them a list of things that absolutely must happen, and getting very good results. Very different than a coach that will take a chance, only care about what is on the field, and try to get as many benefits as possible. I really think Whitt is a big help to these players. Anxious to see the next chapter.
