If it doesn’t, it’s about to.

Sure glad we fired that other coach.

All those “racist” claims sure are panning out for the haters.

MDUteParticipant
Looks like a nice get! Like that he’s a big target at 6-4 with good speed.

Both guys we signed are upgrades over nacua. I think our WR group is back to looking very deep.
-
MDUteParticipant
Agreed. Anyone know how many spots we have left? I thought I heard 2 before McClain committed but not sure.

chinngiskhaanParticipant
So he has a lengthy history of knee injuries. Played quiet a bit as a freshman at USC. Got suspended last season for collecting benefits or something stupid like that. He and his bro left due to no explanation re: the suspension, and lack of playing time.
So… could be a home run, could be injury ridden for the duration of his time here. We shall see
-
MDUteParticipant
I saw that too. Either way, I think he adds needed depth at WR even if he doesn’t end up playing a lot for us.
-
TrailgoatParticipant
Yeah, caught that as well. Perfect fit for KWs transfer-rehab program. Utah is a good change and second chance place to go for players if they want to put in the work and reset in an environment where the expecations are clear and strong team/family culture. Dude is exactly the missing WR the Utes need. Big go to target. Brewer has all the WR fire power he needs. Let’s hope the Oline can give him time to sling it!

Sounds Good! But I don’t know, but I think it might be time we grab another linebacker
-
Dresden_StormblessedParticipant
Lol

StoneParticipant
I assume you’re joking, but he does have a brother at USC, and he does happen to be a LB, so you might not be far off.
-
-
McBride of FrankensteinParticipant
do we know how many years of eligibility he has left?
-
chinngiskhaanParticipant
3 I would think. Played one year, suspended last year, but that year didn’t count. So should be 3.

I hope so. Welcome to the U, bro

Has had some recent trouble with the law.

Possible involvement with covid stimulus fraud-
ironman1315Participant
You mean the feds, unsurprisingly, overreached.
-
CharlieParticipant
It sounds likely that he made a mistake if he was on, as an example, the USC meal plan. However, kids like all of us make mistakes, should pay a penalty and be allowed back. It would be better if he had never made a mistake but it happens. Whitt though, has a very good record of taking a player that has had trouble, giving them a list of things that absolutely must happen, and getting very good results. Very different than a coach that will take a chance, only care about what is on the field, and try to get as many benefits as possible. I really think Whitt is a big help to these players. Anxious to see the next chapter.
-
ironman1315Participant
He sought COVID relief for his side business. It had nothing to do with being a player at USC. Feds are stupid.
-
-
-
StoneParticipant
Well, that’s one way of stopping the USC wide receiving corps.
-
DieHardUtahUtesFanParticipant
I prefer it to having our corners set 15 yards deep at the snap like we have been doing.
