Probably a dumb question because I’m assuming they do.
If the stars line up like they did this week where we play a day or two earlier or even an early afternoon game, and next week’s opponent plays that night or later, does everyone (players, coaches etc) get together to start analyzing or is it more of just a coach’s thing?
Yes. Film study is pretty much all week long on an opponent. That’s how you prep differently for each game.
A lot of film is broken down by position coaches and each position group will have film study and then offense and defense will have theirs. I imagine the team does watch film all together, but not as often as breaking it down by offense/defense or positions.
We all know they watch film with their position groups. I think what grimmetal is asking is, does the team get together, drink beer, eat pizza, and watch the games like us normal folk?
