    ASU did great in California. But failed in its own backyard (and there was a good class this year in the state of Arizona). Not a criticism, just pointing out the reality that it is sometimes hard to get in-state kids to stay home.

  Antonio Pierce spent 3 years as a high school coach in So Cal and developed a lot of relationships. Maybe Weddle will coach high school in LA.
