The Miami UteParticipant
Called it. Told you they were frauds. Now watch Kansas take down Colorado at home next week.
-
Ted LassoParticipant
I mean when over half the country and Vegas picks against a top 10 team to lose to a 3-6 team, then yeah you probably aren’t very good
-
The Miami UteParticipant
I wonder what the line is going to be when Colorado goes to Kansas next weekend? The Buffs seem ripe for an upset.
-
KellsoParticipant
The Buffs looked as good as any team we have played this year. I don’t see an upset.
-
The Miami UteParticipant
And that’s just the way I want the Buffs to see it.
-
KellsoParticipant
I could see that. The arrogance around the Buffs is overwhelming.
-
The Miami UteParticipant
The arrogance around the Buffs is humility personified compared to the knob-slobbering administered by FOX…but, as I said pride goeth before the fall…the Buffs are being built up for ratings until they can get massacred by a P2 program, if and when they make it to the CFP.

UtahParticipant
I agree with you and this should give us hope. There is no top level team in the Big 12.
There is no team that we can’t add a QB, WR and RB and not be better than.
-
-
-
-
ALUFParticipant
They’re not frauds, lucky or not. You are what your record says you are
-
The Miami UteParticipant
Both things could be true.
-
HoosierUteParticipant
absolutely frauds. Ranked #6 with that schedule and barely winning? Seems like the definition of a cfb fraud. Hard to argue that any team in the top 25 wouldn’t be favored if they played.
I respect that they have been able to find a way to win the games in their schedule but that ranking was a fraudulent.-
AnferneeParticipant
Zoobs just three victories against teams with a winning record. 1 point win (should have lost as we all know) over our Diarrhea Express team last week. Followed up by losing at home to a 3-6 Kansas team.

-
EagleMountainUteParticipant
Big 12 is pretty bad. Just facts.
-
The Miami UteParticipant
It is indeed…and it’s only going to get worse as the delta in income grows between the B1G and SEC.
-
EagleMountainUteParticipant
I have only watched a few of the blue chip teams this year.
USC losing is always hilarious. Ohio state is just on another level entirely. Georgia has looked sort of average for them but still way better than any big 12 team.-
The Miami UteParticipant
tOSU takes down Oregon without breaking a sweat if that game is played on a neutral site or at the Horseshoe. Oregon, so far this season, has won three games by a combined seven points. They also beat FCS Idaho, at home, by just 10 points. They are the B1G’s BYU doppelganger. Big rivalry game for them in a couple of weeks when they play Washington.

2008 National ChampParticipant
can’t be true. Plenty of people came onto the board after last Saturday for the express purpose of telling us that we were lucky to be allowed to play such incredible competition every week. surely they couldn’t all be wrong.,,

-
EMUte#2Participant
Thank goodness those bastards lost.
-
RoboUteParticipant
BYU losing is being taken in stride by pretty much everyone because it was extremely clear that you can’t just rely on luck for an entire season. At some point it’s going to break the other way and honestly it took far longer than anyone should ever reasonably expect.
-
Jim VanderhoofParticipant
The zoobs are 9-1. Lucky? Good? A win is a win give them credit. They have a shot at the CFP and that’s everyone’s goal before the season.
-
The Miami UteParticipant
They have a shot at the CFP as we speak, Sunday, 17 November. On Sunday, 24 November, the situation might be different. ASU is no joke.
-
-
The Miami UteParticipant
As I said, Colorado is the next team on the hype train scheduled for a derailment. Just taking a cursory glance at next week’s games, it seems like Kansas’ strengths (excellent secondary, mobile quarterback, and a plus running game) play right into Colorado’s weaknesses.
-
EagleMountainUteParticipant
Fox was really sucking them off in that game. I had it muted and could plainly see how they were on their knees for a team that will be easily beat by any team in the P2.
Colorado fans disappear next year once Prime leaves.
-
The Miami UteParticipant
I didn’t watch the game but I did watch the extended highlights earlier this morning. Two things caught my eye and ear. One was poor tackling by the Utes’ defense and the other was Gus Johnson gushing over Deion Sanders, Shedeur, Henry, the whole Buffs’ circus, etc…I’ll also agree with you and comment that Colorado’s success has nothing to do with Colorado but is totally a Deion Sanders production. As long as he’s there (and Colorado boosters are willing to get shaken down), they’ll be relevant. When he leaves, well, we saw them for most of their time in the PAC and how that worked out…
-
-
2008 National ChampParticipant
That game will come down to how tightly Colorado’s OLine is called. It bumpuzzles me how they can have 3 holding calls on one drive in the first half and then not another for the rest of the game. Must be great coaching.
Or how Hunter was able to commit OPI in front of the side judge and almost come up with a 40 yard reception. Because, as we were told last weekend, the result of the play shouldn’t matter when calling a penalty.
-
The Miami UteParticipant
Oh, oh, oh…that’s another thing that caught my eye. Holy s**t, it looked like Colorado’s OL was holding on every play that was put on the highlights. I mean, having a fistful of jersey and all of that ilk…I guess holding really happens on every play but it isn’t called because pretty soon referees wouldn’t have a job.

Tony (admin)Keymaster
The only reason the won is because I decided to go to bed at halftime instead of staying up to watch them win.
As Gary Player famously said, “the harder I work, the luckier I get.” 9-1 isn’t an accident.
-
The Miami UteParticipant
You’re one of those “luck is the residue of design” guys, aren’t you?
-
-
Utah5410Participant
Told too there luck was about to run out. What’s even more awesome is if they lose next week. Very possible. They won’t be going to Dallas for the BIG 12 Title Game.
-
AnferneeParticipant
Yep. And at ASU. Kenny Dildoham has that team humming.
