Oh, CalTrans put chain controls in over Donner, huh? There must be a few clouds in the sky and a forecast high temp below 70.

I am about 50 miles from Sacramento on 80.  It has been raining like crazy here all night and today.  It is likely dumping snow at the pass.  Cal Trans used lots of ice melt.  Make sure you have windshield wiper fluid to clear it off.  I make sure I have a jug in the car when I am traveling in this kind of weather.
