LOL. That would not have mattered one bit. Once the kick off was screwed up (for the millionth time this year) our only hope was a turnover or a blocked field goal. If we had let them score on the same percentage of possessions, just made them take a bit longer in the process, we would have won that game. Scalley should have realized early on that blitzing wasn’t helping, and we needed to drop 8 and keep their guys in front of ours. Even if they scored just as often, then would have had at least one less possession at the end of the game, and we would have won.
Oh well, it was a good game, and a great season. We made it further than we ever have. This season was a success and we played a great game.
