Missed the game (wedding).  Enid and Mariner one reception each!  Bad routes, good NIU defense?  Or QB/O-line issues?

My feed was bad, but was Huntley ever able to sit in the pocket beyond 2 Mississipi.  I didn’t see it if he could.

He held on too long a few times. Now I don’t know if this is because guys are not getting open or what.

Good point a caller made on kall700 just now. Did Carrington make Huntley better than he really was last year?  Carrington was a huge crutch last season. Huntley doesn’t have that guy anymore yet.

14 tfl’s and 6 sacks makes it extremely difficult to get anything done in the passing game.  Without the big grabs and YAC from Dixon, Boyd, and Covey-  Huntley had a terrible game.

When he did have time he held it too long and/or didn’t get rid of it.  But he’s not the big problem. The O line is.

Those hail Mary sacks and probably two others are on him after they watch the film.

      Receivers weren’t getting open.

The receivers were absolutely not getting open…

        BUT

They were getting their defenders on their outside hip while running slants, and that is as open as they need to be in this offense.  It really looks like Huntley has lost confidence in the WRs because he’s not throwing the ball in these circumstances.  The WRs are covered but still in position to make the catch.
