      Had another thought after discussing the 4th and 1 call with you guys.

      What if: 

      Our receivers and tight ends are below average

      Therefore, we need above average qb play to offset the offensive deficiencies

      If:

      And Huntley is just average

      And we need better than average qb play

      Then maybe we are asking too much of Huntley and should lower expectations for the year? 

      The opposite is also true. Carrington offset Huntley last year.

      Covey is making Huntley look better than what he really is this season.

        True. Covey is our Carrington this year.

          I will say he had a few plays where I really liked what I saw. That quick throw with a defender in his face how he sidestepped him?  Then the big run when they got Washington to open up the whole left side of the field. You see what potential he has but his accuracy deserves a second look. You can’t have the drops coupled with bad throws.

      Then play the running QB.  I’m going to go apes**t if Shelley isn’t playing in a few weeks.
