The fact the NFL draft will now be on 3 networks is crazy. It has to some kind of sign of the apocalypse that there is enough viewership for an event that consists of a draft pick being named, then 15 minutes of guys throwing out their opinions on who should get picked next (generally with a pointless interview thrown in there), followed by those opinions being wrong as team X goes in a different direction. Then they give draft grades, not based on actual results, but on how well teams essentially matched up with the popular opinion of draft “experts.” And yet like every year, I’ll watch at least some of it and wonder to myself why I’m doing it.
