  It sounds like the announcer himself made the decision to get reassigned. Dealing with the instability in the area right now has to be frustrating.

  If ESPN made the decision, then I’d fully agree that it’s stupid.
  
  If the announcer himself made the decision, then I don’t have any issue with it. That’s entirely up to him.
  
  Pretty key distinction there.
