Reasons:
1. Ford is fine
2. RES will be rocking
3. Yes, UO has the NUmber 1 Rush D in the Pac. But ASU was number 2 when they came to RES, AND UCLA was number 1. We handled both of them.
4. If UO stacks the box to stop our run, they have the number 11 ranked pass D.
5. Our TE’s cannot be stopped. Rising knows the offense, and we have multiple TE’s that are matchup nightmares. Anyone ever wonder why Stanford always gives Oregon Problems. It’s because they are tough, physical and use their supperior tight end play against them. We are those old stanford teams of the past this year.
And finally, let me be clear. If we win and expose some things in Oregon, lets not pretend those can easily be fixed in two weeks. RES is an advantage, but the game will be won within the lines. If we expose Oregon, which is not as good or experienced as that 2019 team it will translate to vegas.
Friends. We can beat them twice. The ONLY thing that really concerns me is our rush D hasn’t been great. But, it was agaisnt UCLA and against ASU. So, we would be preapred for anything Oregon throws at us.
