ParticipantMy W-14 Row 22 (2 tickets) total cost went from $2,680 to 2,800
My N-25 Row 39 (2 tickets) total cost went from $1,030 to 1,100I figured I would continue to get season tickets until I turn 70, in two years. Although the cost is getting me close to the tipping point, the real problem for me are the kick-offs after 8:00 pm.

ParticipantDoes it bother anyone else that Harlan cannot\will not explain where this money is going, especially after the ’22 and ’23 seasons where we had record revenue in football?

ParticipantBased on the thumbs down, Harlan must lurk here…. lol

ParticipantE33 from 1280 to 1300 (for a pair)
Could have been worse I guess. When we go to a 7 game season, will be quite painful.

KeymasterWouldn’t it be great if the price changed based on performance?

ParticipantMy tickets,(2), “obligation” increased to $4700
Screw that.

Extra Medium
ParticipantCanceled last year. I don’t regret it.

ParticipantMy season tickets went up 11%

ParticipantOur season tickets increased by 10%. Waiting to see how much the tailgate pass increased. We season ticket holders seem to be the endless supply of money.

ParticipantIt’s funny…the reality is that fans have all of the power but are always seen as a cash cow or the “Bank of Fan.”

ParticipantMine went up 43% last year. Cancelled my 4 seats after 19 years. No regrets. Ended up going to the two games I could actually attend, that I wanted to attend, with who I could bring with me with secondary market tickets. I bought three total tickets. Which means if I renewed, I would’ve been trying to sell or begging people to use 21 tickets. No thanks.

ParticipantI did the same thing. I had 5 in W13 and it just got ridiculous keeping them and using all of them. The last season I had them I never used all 5 of them once. Such a waste of money. It certainly is a younger man’s game. Now if I want to attend in person I just either buy from friends and family or use the secondary market. It saves me well over $4,000 a year. This upcoming season is not very good as far as matchups but I will probably attend a couple of them in person but no way will I ever go back to a full season with multiple seats, especially how they have played the past two seasons.

This is where I’m at as well, and am strongly considering not renewing our 5 seats. I only made it to half the games last year and actually ended up just giving away several of my tickets (because dealing with scammers is exhausting). As the kids get older and into more activities, it becomes more and more difficult to justify setting aside entire Saturdays in the fall to spend on football.
I also feel guilty saying this, but I kinda prefer the comfort of watching from my couch. At least it doesn’t take me 2 hours to get home after the game ends.
Still on the fence, but this may be the year we give them up.

ParticipantQuite a few of you have mentioned that you have cancelled or will cancel. Question, have you let Harlan or President Taylor know? I think you should. I’ve sent both emails. But I’ve seen others do it on Twitter. If they don’t know, they won’t figure it out until it’s too late and the programs suffers.

ParticipantAs long as they keep selling out games I don’t think they really care.

ParticipantIt’s not really Harlan or Taylor’s fault, as the price increase isn’t really that much of a factor to me. Yes, the tickets are more expensive, but what isn’t these days?
While all the conference realignment and NIL nonsense has certainly diminished my interest in college sports in general, the biggest contributing factor towards not renewing is the fact that I simply don’t have the time, energy, or money to devote to it anymore.
It’s not them, it’s me.

ParticipantI don’t blame anybody for giving up their tickets. Last year was brutal. And it’s obviously really expensive.
Somebody else is in line to take your place though. They still have a lot of goodwill built up within the fan base. And we’ll probably have a pretty good team in 2025. And it’s not like we were getting blown out in 2024. As painful as it was to watch our offense, these were still close games that often could’ve gone either way in the 4th quarter. Losing most of your games isn’t fun (especially at home), but watching competitive football is still fun. I’ve had season tickets for 15 years at RES. Am I going to give them up b/c we had one tough year where we lost a bunch of close games w/ our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th string QBs? No way. We were a few plays away from another season of unforgettable memories at RES.
It’s Harlan’s job to generate as much revenue as he can. The more revenue, the better off our program will be. They’re doing what they should be doing. I’d love lower prices too, but it is what it is.

ParticipantI understand jacking up the prices but I think it’s a joke that the last two years have gone from:
2023: USC, Oregon, Washington, etc.
2024: Kansas State, Iowa State, Cincinnati, etc
2025: same 2024 garbage but one less gamewhile increasing the cost each year.
